This is a handmade canoe. It is even more gorgeous in real life than it is in the picture. One of the Race for the Rivers participants makes these as well as hand-carved paddles.
it IS beautiful. We lived near Jamestown (think Pocahontas) and there was a re-inactment village where there were canoe makers. When I was home schooling the kids...we'd go often and talk to the docents for hours. The one above is quite different...but made me think of those good old days.
