This is a former UFO. I finished it in time for Fat Tuesday, but only got around to taking pictures today.
A close up of the embroidery. They are designs from Emblibrary.com. The fabrics are a great deep purple (which won't photograph properly), a green textured, a print with Mardi Gras maskes and the border is a Micheal Miller Mardi Gras beads. The border stitches are decorative machine stitches. The backing is a mix of leftover fabrics and muslin. It is lightly quilted using diagonal stitching and some decorative stitches. It measures approximately 16 x 42 inches.
